Android App Roundup

It has been a while since we featured an article of some of the app students of The Complete Android Developer Course have created so I thought it would be nice to feature a few published apps so people can see what other students have published. Unfortunately it’s not possible to feature every app from students so here are just a few.

Easy Graph

easygraphThe app description describes the app as being a simple tool to aid users in visualizing any quadratic or linear equation in the form of a simple graph. And you can tell the developer has spent some time planning how the app interacts with the user. Getting a easy user interaction experience is much harder than it sounds for apps like these.

You can get the app here.

Dino Dash

dinodashA simple scrolling game where you control a dinosaur and shoot at on coming Pterodactyls (flying dinosaurs) while you jump in the air. The aim of the game is just to accumulate as many points as you can. It looks to be a good app to kill some time.

You can get Dino Dash with this link.

Flabby Burp

flappyburpYou’ve heard of Flappy Bird, this is Flappy Burp. The game is an obvious adaption of the popular app and taken from the lectures of The Complete Android Developer Course but with a twist! You have to avoid the coming hoard of fast food which approaches Burp.

Meteoroid Breaker

meteoroidbreakerA simple but fun game, Meteoroid Breaker is a game that tests the users. Quite simple to play, you just break the hovering meteoroid by tapping on screen and moving your meteoroid forward before you fall on the ground. I can see people playing this game for hours on end. Not bad at all for a first app!

You can get Meteoroid Breaker here.

Down Up Challenge

downupThe is an fitness app for working the core. You choose an exercise from the app menu, set a time on how long you want to perform the exercise for and it takes you through the motion of when to go down and when to come back up. A professional looking app, there are two versions. The free version just gives you push ups only as an exercise while the paid version gives you a few more exercise variations such as leg raises, squats and a circuit randomiser.
